Fold Party is a party pack for 2 to 4 players sharing one iPhone or iPad: sixteen mini-games on a video-store shelf, and one scoreboard that keeps track of the whole party. On iPhone Duo, every fold of the phone has its own games.

How do I start a game?

Tap a game's box on the shelf: a game you have opens straight to its start screen. A locked game's box turns over to show how it plays, what it costs and Try it free. Party Circuit plays three or four games back to back and crowns a champion, and Surprise Me picks a game for you. On iPhone Duo, folding the phone lights up the box for that fold.

What's "Try it free"?

Every paid game can be played once for free on each device, so your party can see whether they like it before anyone buys it. When that game ends, its results offer to unlock it.

We closed the app in the middle of a Party Circuit

Open Fold Party again within 12 hours: the shelf shows Tonight's circuit with Resume, and you carry on where you left off, with the points you had (a game cut off in the middle starts again). End it clears it.

How do we share the night?

Tap Share tonight on the scoreboard, or on the champion screen at the end of a Party Circuit. It makes a picture of the night (the champions, everyone's points, the games and the awards) that you can send, post, or save to Photos with Save Image.

Can the host be shown as text?

Yes. Open the speaker button on the shelf and turn on Captions. They come on by themselves if your device's Closed Captions setting is on. Fold Party also follows Reduce Motion in your device's Accessibility settings.

I bought a game. How do I get it on another device?

Purchases belong to your Apple ID. On a new phone, open Fold Party while signed in with the same Apple ID and your games come back by themselves. If one doesn't, tap a locked game's box and choose Restore purchases.

Can my family play the games I bought?

Yes. Every purchase works with Family Sharing, so everyone in your family group gets the games you unlock.

A purchase says "waiting for approval"

That's Ask to Buy: the game unlocks as soon as the family organizer approves it.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the purchase.

There's no sound

Fold Party follows your iPhone's silent mode (the Ring/Silent switch or the Action button). Turn silent mode off, then open the speaker button on the shelf or in a game to turn up the music, sound effects and the host.
