Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026 ยท Fold Party is made by David Turk Creative.
The short version
Fold Party doesn't collect any of your data. There's no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the game remembers stays on your phone.
What stays on your phone
To play, the app saves a few things on your device only:
- The player names you type in, and their party points
- Your settings (music, sound effects, the host, captions)
- Which games you've unlocked or tried for free, and which page of the shelf you were on
- A Party Circuit you haven't finished, so you can pick it up again within 12 hours
- Whether the app has already asked for an App Store rating in this version
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.
Purchases
Games are unlocked with in-app purchases handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email, Apple ID or payment details. Apple tells the app which games your Apple ID owns so they can unlock on your devices. Apple's own privacy policy covers your App Store account: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Sharing the night
Share tonight makes a picture of the night's scores on your device and opens the system share sheet. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose where it goes, and what happens then is up to you and the app you pick. If you choose Save Image, your device asks once whether Fold Party may add pictures to Photos. Fold Party can only add the picture; it can't see or read your photos.
Ratings
Now and then the app asks Apple to show its rating prompt. A rating or review goes to the App Store, under your App Store nickname; the app itself never sees it.
Crash reports
If you've turned on "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone's Analytics & Improvements settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. That's controlled by Apple and your settings, and it doesn't identify you.
Things the app doesn't use
Fold Party doesn't use your camera, microphone, location or contacts, never reads your photos, and doesn't include any third-party analytics or advertising code.
Children
Fold Party doesn't collect personal information from anyone, so it doesn't collect any from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
